A medical technician, who was on his way to work in the city of Aligarh when he lost consciousness, has died, police said on Friday.
Police said Shafiquddin Bhatnagar, 37, who works in the electronics department of Alagaur, was on the way to his job when he fell unconscious and fell to the ground in a park near his office on Thursday evening.
The body of the man, who had a history of seizures, was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on Friday morning.
Police registered a case against the driver of the vehicle which crashed into the park.
Bhatnatar was on duty at a nearby hospital.
He was taken by ambulance to Aligara Hospital where he was declared dead, said police officials.
According to the official data, Bhatnanagar had worked at Alagarh Medical College for 12 years, and had a medical degree from the University of Algaur.
He was a member of the hospital staff.
